David Joseph Pingleton passed away on October 12, 2023, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
David was born on October 2, 1964, in Oklahoma City, OK. Following high school, he completed his Journeyman Tool and Die Certification. David worked 28 years as a skilled Tradesman. He loved his family, friends, and the Oklahoma Sooners. David married Denise Gott on June 24, 1983. They were married for over 40 years. They have two sons, Eric and Josh. He cherished the time he got to spend with them, and their favorite quote from dad was, “You grab the bull, you get the horns.” David enjoyed numerous trips from hunting with his dad, as well as golfing, sailing and boating with his family and friends.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He was blessed with two granddaughters, Milana and Mia Pingleton. They brought him a lot of joy.
David is survived by his wife, Denise; son, Eric, along with his partner, Starr Adams; son, Josh and wife, Isabel Flores-Pingleton; parents, Dr. William W. Pingleton and wife, Sayra, and Dixie Lee Strauss-Liberty and husband Stan; siblings, Jill, Andrew and Adam Pingleton and Justin and Scott Liberty.
