David Gerald Pittman was a caring husband, dad, pawpaw, and friend. He left this world on December 27, 2025 at the age of 76.
He was born in Columbus, Georgia to H.D. and Lucy Pittman on October 16, 1949. He graduated from Jordan Vocational High School in spring of 1968, where he went onto work at Howard Printing Company, Swift Denim, and Kinetic Credit Union. When he was not working he loved to travel with his family. David loved his sports, the Atlanta Braves and Auburn football were his favorites to watch.
He was married to the late Judith V. Pittman for over 40 years. Survivors include three children: Ronald J. Rollins, Tina Moore (Sam), and Will Rollins. Four grandchildren: Tristyn Jones (Jimmy), Sean Rollins, Billy Rollins, and Hannah Rollins. He also had several great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held with the family between 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on December 31, 2025 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Boulevard Columbus, Georgia 31907. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Red Cross.
