David Alan Pizer, 53, passed away on August 16, 2023, in Juneau, Alaska. Born on January 19, 1970, to Linda and Alan M. Pizer, David's youthful resemblance to Billy Idol added an edge of rebellious charm to his vibrant personality.

From an early age, the wanderlust within David ignited a deep passion for exploration. His adventures began alongside his mother at an early age, and then traversing the globe and leaving footprints in places as diverse as St. Thomas, St. John, Key West, Thailand, Italy, and Japan. More recently, he had found solace in the rugged beauty of Juneau and pursued his love for fishing while working in a gold mine.

Drawing inspiration from his childhood violin lessons, music was woven into the very fabric of David's being. An ardent admirer of both the Grateful Dead and the Rolling Stones, he eagerly sought out their electrifying performances wherever he traveled. Additionally, his love for thrill manifested itself through a keen interest in Formula 1 car racing.

Above all else, David cherished his time spent with family. Despite differing political beliefs with his beloved aunt Barbara, their bond remained unbreakable. Survived by his caring mother Linda Pizer and stepfather Greg Kauppi; aunts Barbara Waymine (Bob) and Kiah Letha Geddes; along with countless cousins and friends.

David is preceded in death by his father Alan M. Pizer; and grandparents Pauline and Noble Davis Sr., as well as Betty and Milton Pizer.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Knoedl Court, Little Rock, AR 72205. In tribute to David's down-to-earth nature, the family kindly requests attendees to dress casually, embracing the comfort of blue jeans.
