David A. Plotts

David A. Plotts, age 84, formerly of Media, Pa., passed away September 22, 2025 in West Grove Pa. Born in Darby, PA., to the late Ernest and Mildred Plotts, Dave grew up in Media and graduated from Media High school class of 1959. Dave was a life member of Rose Tree Fire Company, spending many years as a volunteer and officer. He was a dedicated adult leader and instructor for Boy Scout Troop 487 in Media, where both his son's were members for many years. He enjoyed running, gardening, and teaching woodworking. Dave retired as a supervisor from Boeing. Dave was predeceased by his grandaughter Alexis Taggart. Dave is survived by his sons: Gary (Maria), and Jeff (Melissa) Plotts, grandchildren Avery, Lucas, James, and Andrew. Great grandchildren Maddie and Abby. Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation Friday, October 3, 2025 in J. Nelson Rigby Funeral Home, 1 W. Baltimore Avenue Media from 10-11:30. Interment private.
