Pratt, David Eugene - Age 62, of Grand Blanc, passed away March 11, 2026. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439 with Fr. Le Vodivodi celebrant. Visitation will be held 1 PM - 8 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 where a rosary will be prayed at 6 PM Wednesday evening. Visitation will also be held 9 AM - 10 AM Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gift of Life Michigan (www.giftoflifemichigan.org). David was born February 9, 1964, in Flint, Michigan, the son of John “Jack” Eugene and Dolores Ann (Etue) Pratt. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and worked as a Loss Control Consultant with Central Insurance. David was deeply involved in local athletics. He coached the Flushing High School girl's basketball team to a state championship in 2017 and served as an assistant football coach alongside his father, Jack Pratt, during Powers Catholic High School’s state championship season in 2005. He married Becky Anne Carter on August 8, 2014, in Flint. David enjoyed traveling, had a special love for animals, and treasured the time he spent with family and friends. Surviving are: wife, Becky; son, Daniel Pratt; daughter, Heather Pratt (Quincy); granddaughter, Tatum who is on the way; step-mother, Mary Ellen Pratt; siblings, John (Robyn) Pratt, Steve (Joann) Pratt, Eugene Pratt, Jackie (Andy) Eickhoff, Elizabeth (Greg) Timmerman, Michael (Whitney) Pratt, and Anthony (Brittany) Pratt; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John "Jack" Pratt and mother, Dolores Pratt. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
