David Puckett, 67, of Pearcy, died Monday. He was born November 5, 1945 in Hot Springs, the son of Clint Puckett and Pauline Tuttle Puckett. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin grandsons, Tyler and Andrew Puckett; two brothers, Paul Puckett and Jerry Puckett; and one nephew, Michael Puckett. He owned David's Food Center for 18 years, was the manager of Kroger's in England, was a member of the Lions Club and served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tracy Puckett, Jason and Cathy Puckett and Ross and Hannah Puckett all of Hot Springs, and Alan and Lisa Puckett of Longmeadow, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren, Branden Arnett, Christian Puckett, Audrey Puckett, Cameron Puckett, Brannon Puckett, Haley Zarevich, Noah Puckett, Colby Puckett and Sophie Puckett; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Annette Puckett of Searcy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of wonderful friends. Memorial service will be 6:00 PM, Thursday, November 29 at the Piney Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Gallimore officiating. The family has requested that you dress casual and come as you are. Military honors will be provided by the United State Air Force.
