David Ryan Quave

David "Davey" Ryan Quave, age 45, of Woolmarket, Mississippi, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama.
Davey was a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated electrician whose hard work and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He proudly followed in his father's footsteps, building a respected career as an electrician and member of IBEW Local Union 903 for 13 years. His passion for the trade and commitment to excellence led him to serve as an apprenticeship instructor for the Local 903 program for six years, mentoring the next generation of electricians. For the past six years, Davey worked as an Electrician for the City of D'Iberville, where his coworkers became like family. He was admired for his skill, reliability, and generosity of spirit.
Davey is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Melissa Fayard Quave, and their two beautiful daughters, Emma Grace Quave (13) and Ella Kate Quave (7), who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Janet Caporale Quave; paternal grandfather Artie Quave; sisters Jennifer Hilton (Tom Palumbo) and Casey (David) Conway; father- and mother-in-law Johnny (Wendy) Fayard; sister-in-law Misty (Bishop) Chastain; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Royce Quave; maternal grandparents Louis M. and Lois Caporale; paternal grandmother Mary Ann Quave; and cousin Christopher Quave.
Davey will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his willingness to help, and unwavering love for his family. His greatest pride was being a husband and father, and his legacy will live on through the lives he touched both at home and in his community.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hilton, Aaron Bazzell, Nic Bazzell, Chad Quave, Chase Quave, Vince Husley, Dan "DJ" Fillette, Bobby Simmons, Westley Ladner, David Conway, and Tom Palumbo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Woolmarket Baptist Church from 10:00am -12:00pm with services immediately following at 12:00pm. Interment will be held at White Plains Cemetery.
