David J. “D.J.” Ramirez passed away tragically and unexpectedly on August 23, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. He was the beloved son of David B. Ramirez Jr and Susan Ramirez-Romo.
D.J. leaves behind his three sons, Davien, Damien, and Izrael, who will forever cherish his memory. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Michael, Denise, Dale, Davina, and Devin Ramirez; as well as his half-sister, Delia Ramirez.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe B. Ramirez and Remona Peña Ramirez, and his brothers Eric Lee Ramirez and two half-brothers, David Ramirez III and Danny Ramirez.
D.J. is also remembered by his uncles, Rudy and Arturo Ramirez, Sylvia, Sosa, Felicita Ramirez, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will deeply miss him.
A visitation will be held from 10 AM to 8 PM at the Venue on Broadway on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Funeral service will be held at the Venue on Broadway on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 3 PM.
