It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David W Randall, 66, of Milton VT on May 7th 2022 with his loving family by his side after a brief illness. David was born on July 15, 1955 to Safford Irving and Bertina Randall (Button). David was employed for many years at Blodgett Supply and later worked at Edlunds where he retired from last summer. David loved line dancing and also had a great time singing karaoke with his friends. David also enjoyed listening to music and would hardly ever miss a chance to see his daughter play with her band Jolly Roger. David enjoyed classic cars and he recently purchased a 1965 Buick Skylark because he said he always wanted one! He had big plans to cruise around in his car this summer. David was a member of The Burlington Moose Lodge and The Fraternal Order Of Eagles. David leaves behind his wife and best friend Lisa Randall, his two daughters: Sara Wood and husband Alan of Milton VT; Bethany Rule and husband Jesse of Bristol, VT, along with their two sons Christopher and Joshua. He also leaves sister Marlene Young of Enosburg VT; his sister in law Heather Payea of Essex VT; sister in law Kendra Payea and fianc Mitch Allen of Essex VT and their son Nicholas Cosner; mother in law Doris Payea and partner "Kirby"; and his two special cats Cosmo and Hazel, along with many friends he has made along the way. David was pre-deceased by his mother Bertina Randall and his father Safford Irving. There will be a gathering at the South Burlington Eagles Club on Shelburne Road on Saturday May 14th from 2-6pm and a celebration of life party will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the UVM Medical Center and the staff at McClure Miller Respite House for taking care of Dave and keeping him comfortable his last weeks here. Donations in Dave's honor can be sent to McClure Miller Respite House, 3113 Roosevelt Highway, Colchester, VT 05446.
