David Kent Raymond, age 78, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Ocean Springs.
David was born on March 11, 1947, in Biloxi, MS, to Elbert and Louise Raymond. He was a graduate of D’Iberville High School and worked for Huntington Ingalls, from which he retired. He also served his country as a member of the National Guard.
David enjoyed fishing, watching football and grilling with his loving son, Daniel. He enjoyed being surrounded by family, dancing, joking around, and making everyone laugh. David was a member of the Golden Age Travel Club of Biloxi and enjoyed the time he spent socializing with friends at the French Club in Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Louise Raymond; and his brother, Roy Raymond.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Elsie Raymond; his children, Daniel Kent (Aimee) Raymond and Sonya Marie (Pascal) Poupart; his grandchildren, Alyson (Savannah) Graves, DeAnna Lott, Cole Poupart, Patience Poupart, Patrick Poupart, Conner Howard and Caroline Howard; and his siblings, Arthur Raymond, Janie Reinhardt and James Raymond.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, located at 8343 Woolmarket Road, Biloxi, MS 39532, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Coalville Cemetery, with a reception to follow at St. Mary Hall.
