David Anthony Remo, 63, of Shaler Township, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at UPMC Mercy Hospital. He was born at Allegheny Valley Hospital, November 24, 1962, in Natrona Heights, PA. to parents, John and Barbara (Marciniak) Remo. David graduated from Springdale High School and went on to higher education to receive his degree in Chemistry. David worked as a lab tech for PPG Industries Inc. in Springdale, where he retired. After retirement, he spent his time hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was always ready to make you laugh and would do things his way. David will be remembered as a loving, genuine, and decent person.

David is survived by his daughter, Emily Remo, his son, Nickolas Remo; mother, Barbara Remo; his siblings, Paula Lubic, Kimberly (Marshall) McKallip, Julie Astley, and Mark Remo; his significant other, Harriette Natale; her children Amelia, Ian, and Tekky; his uncles, Conrad (the late Helen) Jr., Robert (the late Sandra) Remo; as well as, Richard (Sue) Marciniak, of Dayton, OH, and Marion (Joe) Mundino; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, John Remo, he is predeceased by his brother, John Remo, his grandparents, Conrad Sr. and Mary Remo, and Basil and Violet Marciniak; as well as David (Claira May) Marciniak.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, 347 E 10th Ave. Tarentum, 724-448-3631. Burial will be private in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
