Kelly M. Smith, 29, of Tarentum passed away Thursday February 26, 2026 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born April 12, 1996 in Akron Ohio. She is the daughter of Dwayne E. and Leslie (Griffith) Smith. Kelly lived most of her life in Tarentum and was a Bus aide for a number of years for ABC Transit. Kelly was a 2015 graduate of Highlands High School and enjoyed crafting, animals and her camp at Lake Milton, Ohio.
Besides her parents she is survived by her brother, Zachary Smith, of Tarentum, step sister Taylor Rabatin, of OH; birth father and step mother Abe (Jackie) Brannan; Auntie Eileen, Uncle Dean and Aunt Kim. Kelly was preceded in death by her siblings, Matthew and Brooke D. Smith; maternal grandparents Donald and Carloine Smith and paternal grandparents Wilbur and Beverly (Griffin) Griffith.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10 AM in Dorseyville Alliance Church, 3703 Saxonburg Blvd., Pgh., PA 15238, with Pastor Mark Conklin, officiating. Burial will be private.
