David Remsberg Obituary
78, passed away Saturday, August 24th, 2024. He was born August 23rd, 1946 to Chester Remsberg and Edith Stratton Remsberg in Iola, Kansas.
David was raised in Iola, KS on a dairy farm. He met his wife, Ngam on his first tour in 1968 and married her on July 2, 1970 during his third tour. He was in the Army reserves, and worked at Wesley Medical Center for 17 years. David enjoyed photography, firearms and starting projects around the house (that he never finished.) He cared about children, helping people with their education and everyday life situations.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
David is survived by his wife, Ngam Remsberg; daughters, Melinda (Jason) Woody of Douglass, Ks, Leanna (Les) Braddy of Douglass, KS; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren
Visitation: Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Thursday, August 29th, 2024 both at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Fellowship to follow graveside at the Church of Christ Douglass, Kansas
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House at Wesley Medical Plaza or children with Leukemia at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
