Johnny White Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brenner Mortuary Funeral & Cremation Services on Feb. 24, 2026.
Johhny Dale White, 69, of Queen Creek, AZ, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the Mission Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center of Mesa, AZ.

Johnny Dale was born on March 11, 1956 to Andrew Robert and Janie Vietta (Kropp) White in Broken Arrow, OK. At the age of 18, Johnny Dale entered the Marine Corps and served until his honorable discharge in 1980 with the rank of Lance Corporal. During his time of service, Johnny Dale earned a National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Expert Badge, Letter of Appreciation, and Good Conduct Medal.

On November 14, 1990, Johhny Dale was united in marriage with April Rainwater, who survives the home. If you asked Johnny Dale when they got married, he would tell you February 14, 1988, the day they started dating, it was just easier to remember.

Johnny Dale is remembered as a prankster with an obnoxious sense of humor. He had been disabled since his discharge from the Marines, but that did not stop him from working and keeping himself busy. More recently, he completed the classes to obtain his heavy equipment operator's license.

Johnny Dale is survived by his wife, April White; five sons, Johnny Randall White (Jeannine) of Washington, OK; Clarence Andrew White (Jana) of Oklahoma City, OK; James Matthew White (Bobbi Jo) of Casper, WY; Brandon Mikus White (Erika) of Haysville, KS; and Michael Jeremy Ciotti of Queen Creek, AZ; three daughters, Ann Marie Perkins (Justin) of Mulvane, KS; Whitney Dawn White (Waylon) of Yates, OK, and Cheyennea Ciotti of Queen Creek, AZ; three brothers, Rickey White (Bobbi) of Arcadia, KS; Ronney White (Mary) of Pittsburg, KS, and Kenny Walden of Pittsburg, KS; 30 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Johhny Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Robert White and Janie Vietta White; two sons, William Cody White and Jessie Allen White; a daughter, Julie Nicole White; and two brothers, Tommy White and Danny White.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brenner Mortuary chapel. Following the visitation at 3:30 PM, a graveside service will be held at Rosebank Cemetery, 299 Cemetery St., Mulberry, KS, 66756. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, and can be left in care of Brenner Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS, 66762.
