David Morgan Risk

Born in 1937 in West Lafayette, Indiana, David was the son of Luther & Mildred Risk. His sister Gretchen Rehm of Glen Ellyn, IL survives him and his sister Joan Shipplet of California, predeceased him.
David is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Risk, his son, Gregory Risk (Jane) of Indianapolis, IN, daughter Melinda Risk of West Lafayette, IN, Mettie Nielsen of New Zealand, stepdaughter Tamara Bryant of North Dakota, and grandchildren Nickolas Jordan, Tiffany Lohmeyer (Jared), Blayne Risk, Christopher Risk, Henry Bryant and great grandchildren, Taylor, Riley and Jackson Lohmeyer.
David graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in 1960 and went to work for Firestone first in Akron OH and Salinas, CA. He then moved back to Lafayette to start Sagamore Heating and Cooling a company he built into one of the largest in the area.
David and Deborah retired to Moss Creek, Hilton Head Island in 1996. They lived there for 21 years before moving to Sun City Hilton Head. David was a die hard Purdue Boilermaker football and basketball fanatic. He also enjoyed playing golf and taking golf trips with the Mossketeers.
