David Risser Obituary

He was the husband of Lynne M. (Patches) Risser, who died January 30, 2025.
Born in Lebanon, PA on May 27, 1949, he was a son of the late Edward H. and Margaret (Miller) Risser.
David was a graduate of ELCO High School. He was a member of Myerstown UCC, where he served as past president. David was employed at APR Supply Company, Risser's Restaurant, Eisenhauer Nissan, Ebersole Buick/GMC, Webber Chevrolet, Whitmoyer's Feed Mill, and was also employed as an auctioneer. He enjoyed road trips, ballroom dancing with his wife and attending her concerts.
David is survived by a son, Joel, husband of Jessica Risser, of Myerstown; grandson, Stanton; brother, Henry, husband of Brenda Risser, of Mount Aetna; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald, Hubert, James, Dennis, and Ernest Risser.
There will be no services at this time. Inurnment will be private.
The family is grateful to LHM Hospice for their incredible care and support for Dave and Lynne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LHM Hospice and Social Services Foundation, 4750 Lindle Rd., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
