David Roberts Obituary
David dedicated 22 years of his life to the United States Marine Corps, embodying the essence of a Marine. A Marine with steadfast commitment and valor. Following his distinguished military service, he ventured into the private sector, founding and managing Koby Security at the Koby Swap Meet in San Diego. Later, he continued his career in security at the Yuma Proving Grounds after relocating to Yuma, AZ.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of nearly 20 years, Claudia Roberts; daughter Michelle Watkins; grandchildren David Roberts, Zoe Mojica, and Maggie Watkins; great-grandson Jameson Walgren; siblings John Roberts, Linda Hird, and Lori Hallock.
David's life will be celebrated on September 20th at the American Legion Post 19 at 11 am. His final resting place will be at Miramar National Cemetery, with the service date of September 26th and time to be determined.
In remembrance of David's love for animals and his volunteer work, the family requests that donations be made to the Yuma Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
