David Robertson Obituary

David Osgood Robertson, age 57 of Acton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at his home. He was the devoted and loving husband of 32 years to Heather E. (Adams) Robertson and a proud father of Nicole and Sarah Robertson. David also leaves behind his beloved French Bulldogs, Pua and Izzy.

David was born on June 9, 1968, in Concord, Massachusetts, the son of Jerry and Nancy (Osgood) Robertson, both of Concord. Raised and early educated in Concord, David attended Arlington Catholic High School, class of 1986. Dave met his wife, Heather, in 1988, and they later married on May 8, 1993, at West Concord Union Church. They soon moved to Acton, where they began a family together, raising their two beloved daughters. Family was the center of Dave’s life; he cherished spending time with his wife and daughters as well as his extended family, friends and community.

Dave’s early career included several years working at Composite Engineering in West Concord before opening and co-owning Concord Collision at Westgate Park for 10 years. Dave took great pride in his detailed repair work and enjoyed working with his customers and surrounding businesses, most of which he went on to develop strong friendships with. Most recently, he has spent the last 5 years as the manager of Concord Car Wash.

Dave was often seen cooking and preparing meals for Bristol Lodge. He volunteered with Open Table, Concord’s 250th Parade, Music Fest, and the Annual Golf Tournament. His family was also active in attending and supporting many of these events.

Dave was extremely active in the Rotary Club of Concord, serving as a board member for many years as well as a Past-President. He was a two-time recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship Award, the highest Rotary Club honor bestowed. He proudly served the Concord and surrounding communities with numerous fund and friend-raising events. His contributions to the organization included: Minuteman Arc carnival, Minuteman Arc Bowling, Minuteman Arc grilling champion for the March, Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed builder and deliverer, Habitat for Humanity volunteer at four different houses and Food packing with CCHS Interact Club this Spring. He assembled care packages for the Troops deployed overseas at Hanscom Air Force Base, fundraised and collected school supplies for the Stella Rosie Foundation in Uganda, fundraised for Moving Health Ambulance project in Ghana, Field Days and Pinewood Derby at Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley that he also built the Winners Podium for. He delivered Veterans signs to Bedford Veterans Hospital, assisted Carlisle Early Act club in delivering collections during the holidays to Open Table, Stuff the Cruiser for Open Table and volunteered at Valentines Day and Jazz Club event at Concord Council for the Aging. He delivered face shields during Covid to needy organizations, 9/11 events, and so much more... Fellow Rotarians describe Dave as “Our rock! He was the best of us!” and will be greatly missed.

Early hobbies included thrill-seeking years of racing Ducati motorcycles across the northeast. Later, when not volunteering, Dave enjoyed many years out on the open ocean with his father as a deep-sea sport fisherman. More recently, he developed an insatiable love of horticulture! Dave spent tireless hours in his garden cultivating his plants to provide comfort to friends and family in pain.

Along with his wife, daughters, and parents, he is survived by his sister Heidi (Robertson) Andolina (husband John), and their children Emily Andolina (husband Jake Van Vorst), Julie Andolina, and Anthony Andolina, sister Sarah Peaslee (partner David Womble), and her children Aaron Peaslee, Amber Martin (husband Jeffery Martin), and Shania Womble, brother-in-law Donald Adams (wife Diane) and their son Cameron Adams and sister in-law affectionately known as Auntie Lynn.

Dave will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his community. His sense of humor and kindness touched everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression on friends, colleagues, and neighbors alike. Whether lending a helping hand or sharing a heartfelt conversation, Dave's presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember David during visiting hours on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap Street, Concord. His funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at the West Concord Union Church, 1317 Main St., Concord. Burial will be private.
