David Rodway Obituary

David was born on May 7, 1948 to Charles "Ronnie" and Tessible Rodway in East Liverpool, Ohio and grew up in Beaver County Pennsylvania with his sister, Enid.
David served 7 years in the United States Air Force as a Cryptographic Communications System Technician, and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War having served at Cam Ranh Bay airbase. After the military, David worked for a time at Crucible Steel, but the vast majority of his career was spent as a Field Service Technician for HP (Digital Equipment).
David was a loving father, son and brother; Master Mason, Shriner, devoted Christian and a very fine example of a human being. David had a warm and caring heart, a calling for service, and gave some of the best hugs. David was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie and Tessi. He is survived by his sister Enid of Smiths Ferry, PA and son Aaron of Cartersville, GA.
A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11am at the Smyrna First Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends from 10-11am Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the church. Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna is in charge of arrangements. www.carmichaelcares.com 770-435-4467
