David Romanski

David Romanski, 53, of Nutley, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. David was raised and lived most of his life in Lyndhurst. He lived in West Milford for a brief time, a town he very much loved, before moving to Nutley in 2012. As a teenager, David worked as a party DJ, providing music for school parties and events, and he also discovered his passion for automobiles by fixing up cars, a skill that naturally led him into a successful career in auto sales. Over the years, he worked at many car dealerships, selling nearly every brand imaginable. He was best known for his time at Franchini Chevrolet in Garfield, where he built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike through his knowledge and honesty. In addition to cars, David was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Later in his career, David transitioned into the financial field, working as a mortgage analyst for Wells Fargo in Paramus.

David is survived by his cherished children, Henry, Karoline, and Charlotte Romanski. He is the beloved son of Barbara (nee Paolini) and the late, Raymond Romanski (2014) and is further survived by his loving brothers, Gary, Paul, and Phil Romanski, by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially Sherri, Courtney, and Samantha, and by many dear friends. David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Private cremation is under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial mass offered at Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst which will be scheduled for a future date. Arrangements will be updated once scheduled.
