David Emilio Romero, born on April 27, 2001, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away, entering an eternal rest on March 18, 2026.

David was a sweet and kind-hearted soul whose respect, generosity, and warmth touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He loved deeply and wholeheartedly, always putting others before himself and offering kindness without hesitation. His presence brought comfort and joy, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him.

David found happiness in the simple beauty of life. He loved spending time in nature—camping under the open sky, exploring the outdoors, and creating memories surrounded by those he cared about. One of his greatest joys was being with his beloved rescue dog, Zoey, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.

Though his time here was far too short, David’s impact will last a lifetime. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew him. While we grieve his loss deeply, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace—free from pain and sorrow, held in eternal love.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

David is survived by his loving mother, Jennifer Bryant; his grandmother, Brenda Lucero; his grandfather, Felix Lucero; his grandmother, Dorothy Romero; Grandfather Arthur Romero Sr. and wife Jeanie Romero; his sister, Ashley Mora and husband Thomas; sister Alex Baca and Ivan Marak and nieces Mavel and Mirari Marak. His cousins, Alexander Albright and Raelyn Albright; Vincent and Mariah Maestas; Gabriella, Therese and Johnathan Romero along with his Uncle Michael and spouse Chris Romero, Uncle Charles and Aunt Maureen Maestas, Uncle Christopher and Aunt Yvette Romero, extended family members, and countless friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Romero Jr.

Services are pending but will be announced once arrangements are finalized.

David’s light will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
