My sympathies to Cindy and the family. Dave was a great guy. May you remember he is now seeing his Lord and Savior face to face. How awesome.

Almost 60 years ago in the parsonage behind the church in Defiance, Ohio, I spent many a happy Saturday morning being tutored by Dave in the trumpet repertoire. He was a staple in high school basketball and band...and a friend to a country boy like me. I shall miss him every time I hear the Triumphal March from Aida, every time I pick up my Bach Strad. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I too had the pleasure of working with Dave at Saskatoon. He always had a smile on his face and was always kind to me and others. To his family may God bless and comfort you as you grieve.

I worked with Dave at Saskatoon Golf Club and Hertz Car Rental. Dave fought a good fight for four years and always had a positive attitude through his struggle. However, through it all Dave is now pain free with his family and friends in Heaven. Praise the Lord. Your friend JB.

The most wonderful humor is what I will miss most and he made me smile, even when I thought I couldn't. I will miss the messages on facebook, where he left such funny stories. My deepest sympathy to his family. I won't know how much I've shrunk, since our last visit again.
