David James (Bud) Rouch of Beaver Island, MI, passed away on Monday November 3, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born on January 12, 1936, in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Bud is survived by his children, Anthony & wife Karen Rouch, Nick Rouch, and Kathy (Russell) Wagner.
Bud loved his grandchildren & great grandchildren dearly. He loved to visit with them, watch them grow up, hear their accomplishments, and just have them around him.
Bud's grandchildren included: Erika Rae (Paul) Brown, and great Grandson Chase Anthony. Madison Alexis Rouch, Jack Sidney, Tyler Rouch, Nicholas Rouch, Alexis (Cody) Perry, great grandson's Rhett & Jensen, Randy Datema, and Madison Wierckz.
Bud was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Hinton, father Mike Churchill, brother Thomas Rouch, his 4 best friends: Billy Pancoft, Bob Dunn, Mike Dunn, and Gary Warner. All with whom he is now reunited.
Bud was a proud veteran who served during the Korean war with the United States Marine Corp. He was a 30-year retiree from Post Cereals in Battle Creek, MI. Also known as a legendary deer hunter on Beaver Island for over 60 years. A well-known bass fisherman around the islands surrounding Beaver Island. He loved playing softball for many years with Smitty's Sport Shop & Nottke's Bowl in Battle Creek. Bud's most favorite times were spent at home on Beaver Island with his family & friends. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather, and friend to many others who will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held on Beaver Island summer of 2026, date and time to be announced later.
