RIP, Dave remember the fun times we had together at the UW. You were my dorm roommate at Terry Hall #413 in 1979-80. We ran into each other a few times over the years in downtown Seattle when I was at the Columbia Tower and working the mean streets of Seattle. Called you in early 2017 right after I retired from SPD to arrange lunch but somehow our schedules never meshed. I went to look you up last year to get that lunch you promised me and was devastated to see that you went to our lord in 22. I was so upset to hear this news. You were always a stand up friend and I really respected your work ethic while I was off to parties in spite of you wisely urging me to focus on school and study time, hah! We did have our share of laughs and shenanigans though which I´ll never forget. God bless you and your family my friend. I´m sure you are missed tremendously as it appears you touched so many in your personal and professional life. Duane Hendrix

Ah David, dang it. You are burned in my memory stand in the bow of the other David´s 16-foot ranger boat on a brilliantly sunny day catching sea-run cutthroat trout in a fly, smiling like a 10-year old as you told us stories of fishing the Skagit in your youth, and all was well with the world that day.

I worked with David for over twenty years at Keller, and remember him as a good man. He invited some staff over after some event, and he asked my advice concerning which Ramones album he should have in his music collection.

We are very sad to learn Dave is gone. He has been a great brother and son for his French family in Villeneuve. For our kids, he was "l'indien". He belongs to a great part of our lives.
Sympathy to Ava and all the family.
