David Wayne Russell

David Wayne Russell was born February 15, 1964 at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington Kansas. He was the youngest child of Maurice Dale Russell and Margaret Ann (Dawson) Russell. David departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2023 in Kingman Kansas.
David grew up in Great Bend, Kansas and Liberal, Kansas. He attended Schools in Great Bend, Liberal and Ulysses KS and at MMI in Phoenix, AZ.
David enjoyed motorcycles, working on engines, music, playing jokes on people and he loved his family dearly. He was a member of Soldiers For Christ. And he truly loved working with Toys For Tots organization.
David was preceded in death by his father Maurice Dale Russell; his mother, Margaret Ann Lee; his daughter, Jessi Russell; stepmom, Mollie (Sherman) Russell; stepsister, Judy Blevins; and father in law, Charlie Henning.
He is survived by his wife, Holly (Henning) Russell, Kingman, KS; daughter, Amy Darling (Caleb), Panhandle, TX; son, AJ Russell (Shayla), Arkansas City, KS; son, Kolton Russell (fiancé, Boston Curry) Borger, TX; sister, Connie Renberger (Bruce), Derby, KS; brother, Lloyd Russell (Brenda), Clarksville, TN; sister, Kay Grice (Forrest), Amarillo, TX; sister, Francie Tryon (Charlie), Liberal, KS; stepsister, Linda Foster (Terry), Forgan OK; stepdaughter, Nevada Barker (Joe Page), Galveston, TX; stepson, Evan Yauk (Kassy), Alva, OK; stepdaughter, Katie Hayes (Patrick), Kingman, KS; stepson, Bailey Yauk (Montana), Ashland, KS; mother in law, Darlene Stewart (Richard), Overland Park, KS; 13 grandchildren, nieces & nephews, cousins, family and many friends.
A Celebration of David's life will be Friday, December 22, 2023, at 12:30pm at Victory Church, Rose Hill KS, followed by light lunch.
