David M. Schlott Sr.

David M. Schlott, Sr., 74, of Temple passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, in his home. Born on June 21, 1949, he was the son of the late Luther D. and Lillian (McDonald) Schlott. David was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School. After graduation, he went on to attend Penn State Berks. David was employed by ARRO Consulting, Inc., formerly a division of Gilbert Associates, for 48 years where he worked as an Engineer Specialist until his retirement in 2015. He was a member of the FOP Berks Lodge Post #71 and Temple Social Club. David also held a membership at the Northmont Fellowship Association and the Reading Company Booster Club, Inc. David is survived by his children, David M. Schlott, Jr., husband of Stephanie L. (Moletress), and Lisa M. Pike. Also surviving are grandchildren, Ryan, Allison, and Nicholas Pike, Brooke, wife of Noah Nguyen, Kylah, Anthony, and Carmine Schlott; Siblings, Luther Schlott of Reading, Jerome Schlott, husband of Dolores, of Laureldale, James Schlott, of Arizona and Darlene Haring of Boyertown. He is predeceased by siblings Carl, Lillian (Buchert), and Sandra. He enjoyed early morning breakfast, reading books, spending time outdoors hunting, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends. An evening visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 5:00 pm â€" 7:00 pm in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560. A burial will be held privately at a later date in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
