He retired from Norfolk Southern after working there when it was Pennsylvania Railroad.

He was a lifetime member of B.P.O. Elks West Shore #2257 and Enola American Legion Post 751.

Dave was born in Harrisburg to John R. Sr. and Miriam L. (Sponhaur) Schory. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 55 years Judith A. (Archer) Schory and his brother John R. Schory Jr.

He is survived by his daughters Tamara Schory and Keria Meals (Chris), his granddaughter Drue Meals and his Companion Joyce Wentz.

The family would like to thank Joyce for her commitment , love and care she gave Dave the last several years!
