David Joseph Schultz II age 26 of Roanoke went home to be with His Lord and Savior on Monday, May 8, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born on February 15, 1997 to David J. Schultz and Tabitha D. Schultz. He was preceded in death by both of his maternal grandfathers, Stephen L. Miller, and Richard J. Eichenbaum.
David is survived by his best friend and wife, Kirsten D. Schultz and his sweet baby boy, Everett Jay Schultz. They both were his world. He is also survived by his parents; brother, Joshua S. Schultz (Katie Fitzgerald); sisters, Ruthie Schultz, and Naomi Schultz; little brother, Noah Schultz; grandparents, Kathy D. Eichenbaum (Nanny), L. David Schultz (Grandpa) and Susan J. Schultz (Grandma); his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Karen Hamann; sister-in-law, Tara Gallimore (Josh); nephew, Jackson Gallimore; niece, Piper Gallimore. He is also survived by lots of uncles, aunts, cousins, other family members and many, many friends.
David was an outgoing, funny, witty, loving, compassionate, loyal, faithful, genuine big hearted guy. He loved his family and friends and made friends everywhere he went.
Theatre was his passion and he excelled and went over the top for every part he played. During one of these performances, he met his best friend and love of his life, his wife Kirsten. The past three and a half years of being with her and them being blessed with their sweet baby boy Everett, were definitely the best years of his life. He loved being a daddy and would beam brightly anytime he would mention them. His little family was his world.
He left a huge impact on everyone he met and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Cave Spring United Methodist Church, 4505 Hazel Drive, Roanoke, VA with Pastors Bryan W. Ratliff, David J. Schultz, and Tim Craft officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held in the church fellowship hall.
