David Daniel Sencion

David Daniel Sencion was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 24,1958 and at the age of 65, passed away while on vacation in Roatan, Honduras on March 21, 2024. David was the only son of the late, Daniel and Muriel Sencion. David is survived by his beloved fiancée, Cheryl. His daughters, Ariana Murial Sencion, Savannah Sencion and Jennifer Clark and his son, Luc Fassel; grandchildren, Nathan, Leo, Xavier, Yoselyn, Xgardo, Yarely, Yaire, Uriel, Vinny, Yesenia and 2 great grandchildren, Jonathan and Camila and many cousins. In his younger years, David was a member of the Jane Addams Hull House swim team coached by his Uncle John. He attended LakeView High School were he continued his swimming career. David loved working at Lakeview/Sunrise bus Company and Skokie District 69 as a lunch supervisor where made many strong and lasting friendships. The children loved David and he loved them in return. There were days when David would come home and share little notes that were given to him by the children these are notes that he cherished. The children affectionately called him 'Mr. David'. David was a very personable individual and will always be remembered for his infectious smile, patience, and warm hugs. He loved watching the Chicago Cubs and rooted for them every season. In his free time, David loved to cruise to various countries, especially the Caribbean. He looked forward to his vacations and planned trips with his fiancée, Cheryl. In November 2023, David proposed on stage to the love of his life Cheryl while on vacation and they were planning the wedding. David had immense passion for his family. His loss is completely unexpected, and his family and friends are profoundly saddened. A celebration of life will be planned later in the month.
