David "Bubba" Shake

David was the kindest person that I have ever met. I am so saddened by his passing. He was always thinking of others & had a great sense of humor. He always had a smile on his face. This is how kind he was; I was a travel nurse in Monterey bay & he took care of me after abdominal surgery. He would come to my apt everyday to check on me & assist me downstairs to do my walking. What an amazing person. I will miss him forever.

David and Benji became wonderful friends of mine when they first became a client of a publication I was doing in the Monterey area. Each year I looked forward to returning to Monterey specifically to see them and spend a few hours catching up. My last contact with David was when he called me just a few weeks before he passed to get my opinion on a motorhome he was thinking about purchasing. He was really excited about doing some travelling and relaxing. My heart goes out to all his family. I know he loved you all. May his memory become a comfort to you all soon. Rest in peace my dear friend.
