David Simpson Obituary
David Allan Simpson, age 69, a longtime resident of Darien, passed away on December 2, 2024. Born in Bronxville, NY, David was the son of the late Nancy (Ferns) and Harold B. Simpson, Jr. David graduated from Darien High School in 1973 and worked for many different employers around town, but he was most comfortable working as his own boss as a handyman. He was passionate about fitness and enjoyed spending time at the gym in his younger years. David always loved family gatherings when everyone could be together. His memory will be cherished by his siblings, Debbie Folsom of Bronxville, NY, Jeffrey Simpson of Tampa, FL, and Douglas Simpson and his wife, Debbie of New Canaan, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harold and Nancy Simpson, David was predeceased by a brother, William Simpson, and a niece, Mackenzie Folsom. Funeral services will be held privately.
