David John Slipp, age 73 of Morrisville, PA, died on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at his home in Morrisville with his loving wife by his side.
Born in Philadelphia, David was raised in Levittown, he was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School where he played varsity football. He moved to Morrisville in 1990.
Prior to his retirement, David was employed by Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in Operations Technical Support for over 25 years. He enjoyed going to his home in the mountains of Tioga County and watching the bear, the deer, and the rest of the wildlife. An avid bowler, David used to bowl at Jubilee Lanes and Bristol Lanes. He bowled in the Pennsylvania State Tournament. David was a huge cat lover. His favorite of his eight cats was “Baby”.
Son of the late Daniel and Ruth (Mooney) Slipp (who he enjoyed stealing Christmas cookies from), he is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Kimberly (George) Slipp, his son Sean David Slipp, at home, three sisters and brothers-in-law Ruthanne and Robert Clapsy of Marlton, NJ, Mary Louise and Keith Piuma of Levittown, PA and Nancy and Paul Lynch of Oakford, PA. David was a favorite Uncle of his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
His services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a memorial contribution, in David’s name, to any No-Kill animal shelter of your choosing.
