Mr. David Lee Soap passed away on June 25, 2024, in Tulsa, born on January 3, 1962, in Tahlequah, OK,. David was a cherished member of the local community. Mr. Soap, a proud American Indian, was a brother, uncle, and friend who brought warmth and laughter to all those around him.
David leaves behind his devoted sister Darlene Soap, nephews Nate Soap , Jaron Soap, Daniel Soap, and nieces Janessa Owl, Nikara Vogel, and Bridgett Puckett, aunt, Ollie Jean Brown, along with great-nephews and nieces who held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Soap, brother Bobby Soap , aunts Jessie Thomas and Jennie Soap, and grandparents Jess (Ollie) Soap.
An avid OU Football fan, David's love for the sport was only matched by his passion for listening to gospel music and following the local police scanner. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often looking forward to his frequent trips to Walmart.
Family and friends will come together to celebrate the life of David Lee Soap at the Funeral Service at Hart Funeral Home on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 am.
A Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, also at Hart Funeral Home. The burial will take place on the same day following the service at England Hollow Cemetery.
David's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing he touched the lives of many with his kindness and jovial spirit.
