Garry “Wayne” Sellers, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home in rural Bunker Hill, Kansas, surrounded by his wife and children.

Wayne was born on June 27, 1949, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to George and Georgia (Marsh) Sellers. He married Jean Anna (Stevens) on March 11, 1967, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Wayne and Jean Anna faithfully supported each other and raised their two children and built a life of legacy for 59 years.

Wayne was a great man of God, loving and caring, helpful and encouraging, always willing to lend a helping hand. One thing for sure, Wayne is with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His heart is strong, beating with no limitations. His lungs are strong and he is breathing the incredible fresh air of Heaven.

Wayne raised horses and operated a dairy farm until moving to Hays, Kansas in 1988 from Farmington, Arkansas. He then began buying and selling antiques.

Garry “Wayne” Sellers is survived by his wife, Jean Anna (Stevens) Sellers, of 59 years; his daughter, Cara Lynn (Sam) Dodd; his son, Adam (Patricia) Sellers; his six grandchildren, Conor Sellers; Erin Sellers; Shyla (Landon) Rogers; Cami (Colton) Martin; Christian Sellers; Layne Sellers; his eight great-grandchildren; his brother, LeRoy Sellers; his sister, Ellyn Fitzhugh; his sister-in-law, Reba (Dean) Lee; his brother-in-law, Wesley (Lisa) Stevens; his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Georgia Sellers; his brother, Bill Sellers; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Lorene Stevens; his brothers-in-law, Wendell Stevens and Wayne Stevens.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Main Street Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas with Pastor Roger Staub, Officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials made payable to: Liberty Foursquare Church, Hays, Kansas, for missions, in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
