Dr. David Stachowicz, 73, passed away on August 19, 2025, at his favorite place in the world—his family's hunting cabin "The Butler Cabin" in Boyers, PA. David Stachowicz was born on October 21, 1951 in Ambridge, PA, to Henry and Helen Stachowicz. David was an exemplary student, as he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, earning both his Undergraduate Degree and Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). While at Pitt, David met his wife of more than two decades, Deb Stachowicz. Together, the couple raised two successful children: Ethan Stachowicz of Boise, ID, and Jana Graham of Pittsburgh, PA. David served the Lebanon community as a Dentist for more than four decades! Dr. Stachowicz or "Doc" prioritized making every patient feel like they were the most important patient, both at the office and while interacting with them outside of the office. David lived a life for which he would make every event, whether a family vacation or reunion, holiday, birthday party, or a Pitt football tailgate, a memorable moment for all. David was also an avid outdoorsman, as he loved surf fishing at Cape Henlopen, the southern section of the Delaware Bay. He was also passionate about hunting and fishing around Slippery Rock Creek in western Pennsylvania. In addition to serving his community, David proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 to 1980. David is survived by children Ethan Stachowicz and Jana (Scott) Graham; granddaughter Vienna Graham; and sisters Tamara "Tammy" (Jeff) Eritano and Cindy Kovach. He will also be missed by his beloved silver Labrador, "Silver", beloved neighbor and friend Jesse, and beloved and trusted staff members Danielle and Jaclyn. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
