We went to concerts, we listened to music, we spent the night outside the Silverdome the day before the Who concert, general admission, I watched with horror as the crowd pushed him backwards through the turnstile and for a moment his leg was in the turnstile, but then he was standing on his feet and he said to me,"I got my whole ticket to keep as a souvenir!" Wow!

Dave had the most awesome hang out apartment where a gang of us guys would rock out to great music and play Foosball and he had a rocket shot from the back of the table that you couldn't even see, Goal! Kind man great friend!

I met Dave back in the early 80's and was very good friends with him for a number of years, as time goes by people go their separate ways, but Dave was always in my thoughts. His passion for music was unbounded, and he taught me so much about the British invasion. My heart goes out to his family in this time of sorrow, may he rest in peace and always be present in the living memories of his family and friends.
