David Michael Stanley, aged 59, of Magnolia, Delaware, was born in Wilmington, DE, USA on February 10, 1966, and passed away on October 6, 2025. David was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend who touched many lives with his kind heart and generous spirit. Known for his love of adventure and the outdoors, David was an avid hunter, fisherman, and motorcycle enthusiast. His passion for photography led him to capture some of the most beautiful moments of his travels.
David was a self-made man, owning his own handyman business. In his professional life, he was known for his time at MBNA, Formosa, and Walmart, where he demonstrated his commitment to hard work and helping others. After moving from Bear, Delaware to Magnolia, David became a cherished member of his community, offering his handyman services to those in need. His dedication to his work and his community was only surpassed by his devotion to his family.
David is survived by his daughters Laura Stanley, Sarah Stanley, Melissa Stanley, and Jessica Stanley, and his son Michael Stanley. He will also be dearly missed by his siblings, Douglass Stanley, Patricia Stapleford, Susan Stanley, and his grandchildren Cassidy, Beau, Liam, Amelia, Jaxson, and Sophia. David was preceded in death by his parents Douglass and Carol Stanley.
We invite all who knew and loved David to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Your stories and pictures will help keep his spirit alive in our hearts.
