David M. Sticha, age 63 of Faribault, MN passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2025 at his home.

David Michael, the son of Edward and Evelyn (Schoenbauer) Sticha, was born in New Prague, MN. David attended Montgomery High School before graduating from Faribault High School. He worked for Fareway Foods before their closing, followed by some time at ABC Bus Companies before working as a detailer at R. C. Bliss Ford. While he wasn’t working, David enjoyed watching Nascar, going to swap meets, and restoring classic vehicles.

David is survived by his son, David (Sara) Sticha; 2 granddaughters; siblings, Gene Sticha and special friend, Alicia Withanom, Joyce (Terry) Morrisette, Marlene (Kurt) Degner, and Ed Sticha; and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, LeRoy Sticha; and nephew Chad Sticha.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Faribault with Father Alex Marquette officiating. Private family interment will be held at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at church prior to Mass.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.
