David String Obituary
David R. String Sr. passed away on March 7, 2025 at 2:22 am with his wife by his side.
Born in Woodbury on January 9, 1966 to Furman and Beatrice String. David worked as a truck driver since the age of 18.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter and poker player. His new passion was riding his motorcycle with his club Iron Force LEMC.
David is survived by his wife, Kristin String; his children, Anthony (Shannon) String, David String Jr., and Nick (Maria) String; his siblings, Bud (Lisa) String, Ed (Lisa) String and Kimberly (Geoffrey) Raiser; mother, Beatrice String (late Furman String Jr.); grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Aubrey, Madelyn, Matthew and Maverick; cousins, Sherry (Mark) Pecsi, Tina (Victor) Torino, Ed (Kristi) Daisey, Kelli (Chuck) Dilger, Ronald String Jr, Joe (Tami) Novak, John (Karen) Novak, along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received from 10:00am until 12:00pm followed by a funeral service at 12:00pm on Saturday March 15, 2025 at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland NJ. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 500 Delsea Dr., Sewell NJ 08080.
