Rip dave

Dave was especially kind to my horse Gryffin, who came to Winterwood for training. He went above and beyond spending extra time with him to make sure he learned good manners, and never missed an opportunity to say how much he really liked Gryffin. I could tell Gryffin really liked Dave too. He will surely be missed by the people and horses whose lives he touched.

I remember him working on our farm years ago drawing in apples with the night crew. He had on either the polka dot hat or a felt effanem hunting hat. Also milking cows with my cousin on the farm driving I believe was a blue 1967 firebird. I plowed snow for his mom for years on Hop City Rd. He always came out with something that got people laughing on the farm. He will be missed.

I just put this on Facebook, when I use to tend bar at the dolphins cove, he came in one day with baby skunks up his sleeves of his coat that he found in a culvert..... That memory will stick with me forever.. he loved critters!!

Dave, I was so sorry and surprised to hear of your passing. I appreciate all the help you gave me with my horses over the years..... you are a true Horseman and friend and I will always remember you fondly. RIP

Aw man. Seeing this and hearing this makes me so sad and i definitely feel the weight of this loss. I grew up as a child living in the park dave lived in. He was always so humble, loving and caring. He would always be riding his horses and stop specifically to let everyone pet them and have conversations with us all. My condolences and love to his family
