David Arlen Studdard

David Arlen Studdard age 37 of Cookeville passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born July 13, 1988, to his parents, Ronnie Studdard and Carol Dunn Prater. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Stella Studdard and Edwin and Ruth Dunn; aunt, Karen Ashford. David worked in Plumbing and Construction. He is survived by two children, Cayden Studdard and Arlen Stella Paige Studdard; mother, Carol Dunn Prater (Ricky Foster) of Bradyville; father, Ronnie Studdard of Cookeville; brother, Josh "Radar" Johnson; aunts, Rhonda (Alex) Case of Cookeville and Vicky (Nelson) Sandlin of Liberty; uncle, Wade Ashford of Gassaway; nephews, Logan (Audrey) Johnson of Smithville, and Jayden Johnson of Cookeville; several cousins also survive. Funeral service will be held 2:PM Friday March 13, 2026, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday March 13, 2026, from 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to an Educational Fund for his children in memory of David. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Studdard family.
