David Swain Obituary

David had a lifelong passion for the water as a scuba diver, sailer, kayaker, and boat captain. He also loved carpentry and photography. David was a small business owner and proudly served as a member of the Jamestown Town Council.
David is survived by his children, Jennifer and Jeremy, and three grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Regina Hill and Rick Swain.
Calling hours for Mr. Swain will be held from 12-2pm, followed by a Memorial Gathering at 2pm, on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02852.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cause of your choice.

David was an EMT on the former NK Ambulance Corps when I was a newbie. He was always accepting, encouraging, and friendly.
I´m not sure why I just thought of his name tonight. When I googled him, I found his obit.

I just found out about David's passing - Jen and Jeremy, my deepest condolences on the passing of your father. I'm so sorry that David died so young - he was a good man and a good friend. He encouraged me to be a better diver and a better DM. I will pray that your life in the kingdom is filled with peace, David - as you saw so little of that in the last years. I started looking for you because it had been too long and I missed you. What a shock to find that I'll keep missing you for a while longer. I have faith that we'll see each other again some day. Fair winds and following seas, my friend.....
