Brownfield Funeral Home - BrownfieldA Memorial Service for David Xavier Thomas will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at Brown Street Church of Christ in Waxahachie, TX. David was born on September 30, 1978, in Los Angeles, embarked on his earthly journey, and touched the lives of many until his passing on November 8, 2025. To describe David is to capture the essence of a remarkable soul—a hard-working individual whose industrious spirit was matched only by his extraordinary talent as an amazing sketch artist. He had a unique ability to bring life to paper, capturing emotions and moments that his loved ones will forever cherish.
David was not only known for his artistic ability but also for his insatiable love for food—an enthusiast who found joy in the simple pleasures of living. He was a very friendly guy whose warm laughter and presence brought comfort to those around him. David was an incredible cleaner; he would take an assignment and make it his own. If he was told to clean a stove, God help the stove and the parts he would have to reassemble from the cleaning.
His dedication extended beyond his personal pursuits; David served his country honorably in the U.S. Marines. This chapter of his life was a testament to his character, one defined by commitment, strength, and selflessness.
David leaves behind two loving step-parents, Randolph V. Brown Sr. and Mieke H. Brown, who provided him with guidance and support throughout his journey, and his brother, Linzy Thomas and wife Tajmeel. While he has departed from this world, he is reunited in spirit with his beloved parents, Joseph and Jennie Thomas, whose absence he felt deeply.
As we remember David Xavier Thomas, we celebrate a life that was rich with love, creativity, and unwavering friendship. His spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who felt his kindness and warmth.
