David Thomas Obituary
David was a probation officer for the Saratoga County Department of Probation. He enjoyed spending time at camp on Sacandaga Lake. His favorite places to listen to talk radio or the baseball game were lakeside or floating in the boat. He was a diehard Mets and Jets fan no matter how bad of a season they were having and a big supporter of the Adirondack Red Wings.
Family was important to David, and he loved having long conversations with his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father David J. Thomas and his nephew Ricky Currier. David is survived by his mother Patricia Thomas, sisters Kim Currier (Rick), Mary Stodgell (Jim), and Sarah Ferrara, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday, December 11 at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A mass of Catholic burial will be celebrated 9:30am Friday, December 12 at St. Mary's Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in Ballston Spa Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of David may be made to the Edinburg Emergency Squad, PO Box 904, Northville, NY 12134.
The family would like to thank the ICU and M3 wing at Albany Medical Center for their care and compassion, and a special thank you to David's dear friend Chuck Barrett for his unwavering support and incredible friendship.

My condolences to Dave's and his family. I was a co worker of his at Probation Department for many years. I had previously known him during his long tenure in Foster Care with DSS. Dave was a great guy and we enjoyed talking about sports. May his memory be eternal.
