David Thompson Obituary
David was born on February 12, 1948, in Griffin, Georgia. His parents, David Sidney Thompson, Sr. and Lena Coussons Thompson; sisters, Bobbie Ann Mason (Charles) and Margaret Deal; longtime companion Patricia Tucker, all preceded him in death. David worked many years as a general contractor and was a member of West Sunny Side Church. David loved playing the piano and had a style all his own. Those moments around the piano are memories his family and friends will always treasure.
Survivors include his son, Patrick Thompson (Robin); daughter, Dawn Craig (Jeremy); grandchildren, Cole Thompson (Haley), Gage Thompson (Georgia), Carson Craig, Carrie Thompson, Lena Craig and Waylon Thompson; great-grandchild, Kasen; sisters, Joyce Blackmon and Alice Shavers; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
