David Thornsbury Obituary
David Bruce Thornsbury, 60, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his residence.
David was born on September 5, 1964, to the late James and Helen Thornsbury.
He was a member of Timberlake Church. In his free time, he enjoyed quiet time with his loving wife, Gay Galyean Thornsbury.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by a devoted daughter, Arlene Stewart; stepsons, Stuart Hanks and A.J. Howard; grandchildren, Jazmyn Stewart, Dalton Stewart, and Hayleigh Howard; siblings, George R. Kell, Richard (Dickie) Thornsbury, and Jamie G. Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Arvilene Thornsbury.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Timberlake Church. A luncheon will held following the service.
