David Timothy Ferrell

David Timothy Ferrell, 61, Social Security Administration Paralegal, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at his residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, January 21, at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Joe Rushing and Lyndall Propst officiating. Inurnment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born May 25, 1956, he was the son of Frances Jewell Watkins Ferrell of Columbia and Glenn Doak Ferrell who died January 16, 2018. David was a graduate of Oakland High School in Murfreesboro and attended Middle Tennessee State University. He had served as an Air Traffic Controller in the U. S. Air Force. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister & brother-in-law, Glenda & Tim Dodd of Columbia; and nephews, Matthew William Dodd of Murfreesboro and Daniel Ferrell Dodd of Knoxville.
