Mr. David Westaver Toal

Sorry to hear of this news. Spent a lot of time with "PUDDY" at the Waterloo Country Club. He was a great person, and always polite and a blast to be around! He will be missed. My deepest sympathies to the entire family

I've lived next door to Dave in Cary since 2005. I remember how happy he was when I moved in, as he desired a neighbor closer in age than the previous owners. We often met for drinks and dinner at the MacGregor Draft House and enjoyed concerts at Koka Booth amphitheater. Dave was always a happy guy, he loved to laugh and was a good neighbor. I definitely will miss him.

I grew up on the same street as Dave. He was 4 years older but he was always so kind to me. As I got older I would see him at the country club and again, he was always so kind to me. I really looked up to him. Its probably been 30 years since I last saw him but I'm very sad to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace Sir I am forever grateful for the kindness you showed to a chubby little kid
