We come together to celebrate the life of David Andrew Townsend, a cherished individual whose warmth and kindness touched everyone he knew. Born on September 9th, 1984, in Maryland, David spent his life sharing joy and love with those around him until his passing on January 6th, 2024.
David's legacy is carried on by his family, the loving son of Leslie and Denise Townsend, née Todaro. His spirit lives on through his children, Jayden Wild and Dezi Townsend. David's capacity for love shone equally as a cherished brother to Melissa Townsend, Michael Townsend and his wife Rachael, and a dear grandson of Andrew Todaro, Sr. His vibrant presence will be dearly missed by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and a host of friends.
His professional life was as dedicated and passionate as his personal. David was a committed employee, contributing to the family businesses: Floral Impressions, Spring Hill Contracting, and Montebello Deli. His work ethic and infectious enthusiasm were integral to the success of these ventures.
David's joys were found in the simple pleasures of life. He reveled in camping trips to Greenridge, MD, and Camp Cove in Gove, PA. Memorable moments were crafted with his kids at Dutch Wonderland and during tubing adventures at Gunpowder Park. He was an animal lover who found delight in bonfires with friends and in the cultivation of beauty through his indoor and outdoor gardening.
Remembered always as a loving and kind soul, David Andrew Townsend has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he encountered. His story is one of devotion and generosity-a life fully and beautifully lived.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate David's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road Parkville MD 21234, for a visitation on Thursday, January 11th 2024, from 5-7PM. A memorial service will be held following the viewing at 7PM.
