David Ray Trevino

David Ray Trevino, 71 of Kress, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Plainview. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

David was born in Rio Grande City, to Mr. and Mrs. Jose Trevino, Sr.

David worked at Tooter Tire Service in Kress, Texas for almost 30 years. His favorite past times included dancing and listening to music, especially to Elvis Presley. He also loved spending time outside and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his two sons, David Trevino, Jr., and Daniel (Boy) Trevino; his father, Jose Trevino, Sr.; his siblings, Joe Trevino, Jr., Margie Chavez.

David is survived by his mother, Maria Trevino of Kress; his son, Ricardo Trevino of Kress; his siblings, Fernando Trevino of Kress, Andrea Knipe of Kress, Mari Mora of Plainview, Lupe Herrera of Lubbock, Josie Trevino of Fort Worth, Yolanda McCoy of Dumas, Juanita Trevino of Kress, and Sofia Trevino of Olton; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
